CLLARE mission diet

We need to come up with a diet for the mission which is:

  • Sufficiently nutritious for the purposes of the mission
  • Low residue
  • Able to be stored in the CM cabin for approximately one week without spoiling
  • (preferably) Palatable when cold

The astronaut will be quite sedentary during the Earth-to-moon and moon-to-Earth travel periods, but may engage in significant physical exertion during EVA between these periods.
