CLLARE landing site
From CSTART Wiki
So far no work has been done on selecting the CLLARE landing site. However, some obvious criteria are:
- To avoid violating our Social Contract we must maintain our distance from previous moon landing sites.
- To avoid costly orbital inclination changes after lunar capture, the landing site should lie roughly on the plane of our Earth-moon transfer (which may be the Earth's equatorial plane or the Earth-moon orbital plane).
- The landing site should facilitate a scientifically interesting lunar EVA schedule.
