Keyboard not working, help! | Computer Systems Workgroup | Forum

I'm typing this on a virtual keyboard, but on my keyboard every time I press a key on my real one a ticking noise comes from the back of my computer, and if I hold it down the ticking begins to get faster, I tried unplugging it and replugging it, and going into hardware settings, but neither helped at all. Please help, I need it for schoolwork.
