Greetings from California (and Reddit)! I'm a third year student working on a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering and a B.S. in Mathematics. I'm planning on going into logic research, but space exploration is one of my biggest passions and I would love nothing more than to help out wherever I can in CSTART.
Most of my programming experience is in C, C++, and Java. I also have some familiarity with VHDL and I've worked with FPGAs in robotics competitions. I am highly interested in DSP-related fields, and I'm starting to familiarize myself with the software engineering process. I've been exposed to some CubeSAT knowledge from my university's current project. I'm still in the middle of my education, but I hope to apply anything as soon as I'm competent enough to make a contribution.
Technical aspects aside, I used to be a web designer and I'm pretty big on tidiness and all-around aesthetics. I'd like to contribute in public relations if I could, and hopefully I'll be doing my own research on CSTART aspects that haven't been covered in my education, such as propulsion, communications, control, etc.
I feel a personal responsibility to make this fantasy into a reality, and I'm incredibly excited to participate in any way I can.
