Hey Guys! I would like to introduce myself!

I found you guys through openluna, and I've been watching for a few days, and reading up on the stuff you guys have. I'm actually an aerospace engineer by trade, but I'm taking a crack at promoting space colonization (check the website). I'm extremely intrested in joining you guys in a promotion capacity.

I have some ideas about how to promote space as a cause, rather than as specific engineering projects. What's your guys opinons?

Feel free to contact me anytime!

Nice to have trained talent on the team. I haven't been very active lately, but it is exciting to see new faces around here.

I'd be very happy to listen to these ideas.  I am little torn as to what I think CSTART's stance on cause promotion should be.  I think that for most of our existence we have been thought of as geared around engineering projects, and I certainly think that's the most innovative and disruptive thing we could do (since there are plenty of cause promotion websites/organisations out there, e.g. Mars Society) – however, that isn't necessarily to say we should do no cause promotion.  A combination of the two might work well, especially if we tried to overlap them, i.e. so that our engineering projects were directed toward realising some of the ideas used in our cause promotion.

I'll check out your moon colonisation website in the next few days and let you know if I have any thoughts I think you may be interested in.

Thanks for saying hi!

sweet!

When checking out the website, keep in mind that I would build another website for this promotion project. That one is just my personal baby.

I don't think organizations such as Mars Society, NSS, etc. do a very good job at promoting the concepts outside of the space community.
