Hello everyone,

I am Donald Darga and would love to contribute to the program. I have recently graduated college but have not designed for public implementation at all, much less life support for a mission to the moon. This makes me a little hesitant, but I can only hope its a healthy fear for the unknown.

For a little bit about me, I graduated University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a BS in General engineering concentration control systems. I have worked on robot cars, embedded circuits (although somewhat basic ones, microprocessors and dsp interfacing with various peripherals), an RRR robotics arm, a few inverted pendulums, and DC motors. My main concentration is control theory and design. Ive taken classes in linear control theory, digital controls, state space controls, system identification, and robotics. I have also taken various other classes in electrical engineering that were not required of my major ( I ended up staying an extra year ). I am currently unemployed and  I would love to help contribute to this project, but I am a little wary of my skills fresh out of college and would be much better suited if there was someone else in my field that I could confer with.

That said, if anyone notices an area I could help contribute to I would be more than happy to lend a helping hand.

This is a link to my resume if anyone is more interested in details of what I have done.

Thanks for your time as I'm sure you guys are busy

Welcome aboard Donald. Please don't hesitate to jump in at all. We're all from different backgrounds and most of us don't have direct aerospace experience. The best way to learn and become comfortable with your skills is by doing, so don't let inexperience hamper you. We probably won't get a lot of things right the first couple times, but the nature of the organization at this stage allows for that. You've already made a couple helpful posts. At this stage I think you're best off offering your assistance and knowledge wherever you can.
