I am hoping to spend some time today working frantically on the Wiki, trying to get things better organised and more up to date for SpaceUp. I am going to use this thread to document everything as I do it so people can keep track of changes and offer feedback. Anything I do here is up for discussion if people don't like it. Normally I would try to avoid doing lots of work unilaterally, but time before SpaceUp is relatively short, and so is my spare time at the moment, so I'm just gonna go nuts and leave a "paper trail" here to facilitate tidying up afterward if there are disagreements. Hopefully most of it should be uncontroversial, though.

I have removed all the images from the OHKLA main page except the simplest one of the rocket itself. There is a link on the main page to the OHKLA image gallery, which has all of the images in it (and which is where we should put future images). Note that currently all the images in the image gallery are right aligned – I do not know why, I removed the word "right" from all the setting strings, but it didn't seem to make a difference. I will fix this myself later if nobody else does it first, but people should feel free to do it if they know how.

Quick stub page written for the CSTART Engineering Process, since this is linked to by the main project pages now.

Next you updated the CLLARE page, if the editing conflict I just ran into was any indication. Good work.

Reworked CLLARE Propulsion Workgroup pages to be in line with current ideas. This stuff was very out of date. There are now no obvious links to the modular booster stuff, references to the Orbital Bus have been replaced with those to the PM, references to the Service Module (!) have been removed, etc.

I just noticed that the Wiki user "Admin" (Rizwan, is that you?) removed the "Official Document" notification header from the Mission Statement and Social Contract pages, but not the Design Philosophy page. Does anybody know what the deal with this is? Was there a problem with those headers?

I've added little "Outdated information" notice boxes to the top of all pages regarding the Selene booster family, so that if anybody stumbles across them (even though the links have mostly been removed), it is clear that they are old ideas. You can see an example at this page.

Ah, yes. I updated the CLLARE page to have the same new format as the OHKLA page, since brmj agreed in IRC that it was a very good idea.

No idea what the issue there is.
While poking around on the wiki, I am occasionally finding what apears to be the work of the Internet's least compotent spambot. It's addding text to blank pages with a line or so of horribly formated links to sites that don't exist. I The relevant ip addresses are 168.8.111.16 and 72.44.53.165. There may be more I didn't see.

There was a small/crappy spambot attack a few months ago. I reported it on the forum and Rizwan said he took care of it – it's just occurred to me that maybe the Official Document notice boxes were removed by accident as part of the cleanup. That seems most likely. I will add then back on that understanding, if there is a genuine problem with them, please somebody speak up.
Continuing with the notice box trend, there are now Engineer Process notice boxes at the OHKLA Design Decision and CLLARE Design Decision pages.
I like notice boxes.

There is a Best Practices page on the Wiki created by Gerbal (who was active shortly after we formed but hasn't been around in months). The material on there isn't bad per se, but it seems like it doesn't warrant an entire page. The link to it also takes up valuable Wiki Main Page real estate. Does anybody have any ideas on what to do with it?

There is now a Promotional Materials page, linked to from the main Wiki page. It currently features only Rizwan's high resolution versions of the CSTART logo on white and black backgrounds. We can extent it later to include flyers, etc. Things like Rocket's "Upward Bound" poster (with updated renders, obviously), etc.
The page declares that everything on it is CC-BY-ND licensed – we probably don't want people distributing modified versions of our logo, etc. Note that parodies will always be allowed regardless of the license, that's part of copyright law's "Fair Use" concept.
Note that this Wiki page and both the images on it are Protected (only administrators may edit them).

I fixed this. Apparently using the "thumb" keyword to automatically shrink the images also implies right alignment, so you need to explicitly tell it "left".

The OHKLA overview page, which has been linked to from the main OHKLA page for a long time but was always empty, now has an extremely short stub. The page previously known as "CLLARE Mission Overview" has been changed to "CLLARE overview" for consistency with the OHKLA page.
