We ought to get this ball rolling, I mentioned it in a previous post in a different topic but I didn't want it to get lost. I live less than an hour away from Stony Brook University. While generally known for their contributions in the medical field, they also have a strong engineering program. I have some friends there so I'd like to contact their clubs and honor societies to see if I can stir up some interest. I'd like to try to have some kind of prepared information for them when I do so. Even if we just designed it, and members order them at their expense as they needed them, this would be great.

This is a great idea. I live less than 15 minutes from the University of North Dakota. They have one of the nation's best aeronautical programs and I am sure that we could get them established as a "physical group".

We may be able to have a 4×6 two-sided glossy handout made. One side could have a render similar to this. The opposite side could then have our mission statement and some bullet points about what we plan on doing.
It would actually be extremely easy to make a one sided handout. All you have to do is create a flier with the appropriate h:w ratio, throw it on an SD card, and take it to any store that can develop pictures. I think that 4×6 prints are less than .20 each.
I'll use my concept render to make a template. This way we can all get them printed locally.
Others can make their own if they want. Let me know if you want specific renders (lander, OHKLA, Selene-x, ect.).

For the pamphlets if anybody could do the content writing and placements. I will ask my team to pin it down in a few days.

With the render rocket just posted, can we also have this on the front page of CSTART.org to the left of the contact form? This would make the front page and a first impression slightly better. Does anyone agree? Of course, I am just suggesting. I have no idea if this is difficult to implement or is bad for our image.

It is difficult to implement and also that space is looking empty because the latest blog posts would show up over there, and we don't have any blog posts right now.

Since no one's seemingly taken the initiative I'm going to start drawing up some ideas for pamphlet text. I'll post it in a new topic soon.
PS- Sorry I've been away for five days straight @_@ been sick and the holidays take a lot out of me.

Just for the record, the business card design is mostly complete. It will be two-sided card. I am planning to have the motto on the back of the card once we finalise that.
Also, instead of printing the names directly on the card, I have kept empty spaces where people can write the name and number if they wish. There are two benefits of doing this.
1) No one is an official representative.
2) We just have to upload one file for people to use. Also it would be difficult for someone with no knowledge of graphic softwares to add the name.

I haven't really gotten on this project yet. The holidays are busy and I only get to see my family for 30 days per year so I'm trying to maximize what I can do while I'm home.
