The website is coming along nicely, but I notice that there's nothing posted in the blog or the twitter feed. I wanted to know if there's a reason nothing has been posted to the blog yet (not fully set up yet?) or if, like me, it's just a matter of nobody knowing how to post.

Should we put potential blog content on the wiki somewhere, like we're doing for other website content? Does anyone besides zvan currently have access? I'm willing to help with this, and I suspect others are too, but I'm not sure who to contact or where to start. It'd be nice to get this running soon, since we've got a nice group of new users heading in from /r/spacefleet, with more coming soon once we start promoting the group, a few nice blog entries would help to make a good impression.

/r/tothemoon just hit 100 readers. That would make a nice first tweet in my opinion.

(This is my second attempt to post this, sorry if it somehow double posts)

I agree that we need to either delicate responsibility for tweets/blogs/etc. to one or two dedicated "publicity officers" or figure out some way to share access to these accounts.  I brought this up in /r/tothemoon a while ago but now I can't find the thread. :(  I said it would be cool if there was some software that could be used to manage this – i.e. anybody could propose a tweet etc. and that proposal would show up in a queue that we all had access to.  We could vote 'yes' or 'no' on things in the queue and the software (which would know the relevant account details) would pass on things which got enough 'yes' votes through the Twitter web API, etc.  Zvan mentioned something he was aware of which worked in a similar manner to this, but I can't remember what it was called.

For what it's worth, I think I have the credentials to make blog posts, although I haven't tried (the credentials Zvan gave me to rearrange the forum structure are generic Wordpress admin credentials, so I assume they will suffice), so if somebody writes something in the Wiki and there is support for it from a few people I am happy to post it.  I don't know the Twitter account details, though.

I can handle the twitter/blog responsibilities if no one has any objection to it. Infact I just sent out a couple of tweets, hope you enjoy them.

I will also upgrade selected accounts so that you can write blog posts from the control panel, after review and editing we can publish them. You can login to write blog post over here. http://cstart.org/wp-login.php
