Here is another project along the lines of CSTART.  It seems less well defined, organised and active than CSTART currently is, but they have done some interesting work (including planning a minimalist Mars mission).  Some of their members are fairly impressive people (SpaceX employees, MIT engineering graduates, etc.) who may be interested in helping us out.
