How do people feel about renaming the booster workgroup the propulsion workgroup and expanding the group's scope to include not only the booster but also the service module engine and RCS systems?

This feels like a fairly natural grouping to me, and allows the decision on whether or not to use a final booster stage or the service module engine for TLI (see this thread) stay within the group which is responsible for both of those engines, cutting down on the need for constant communication between groups.

Main CLLARE workgroups: Mission Planning, Navigation and Guidance. I do maths, physics, C, Python and Java.

Sounds good to me. Is there then a way to create sub-groups? I'm not very familiar working with forums.

I think this could work, but only if we have a way to designate subgroups.

Main work groups: Propulsion (booster), Spacecraft Engineering, Computer Systems, Navigation and Guidance (software)

The subgroup thing should be no problem – observe that the Spacecraft Engineering and Navigation and Guidance forums already have 3 subforums each to split the workload around (Command module, service module and lunar lander for SEW, orbits and burns, navigation and guidance for NGW).

It makes sense to me to have all of the propulsion under one roof (booster, service module engine, lander descent engine, RCS). Maybe a subforum for each would do the trick.

In light of apparent support for this idea I will make the required forum renames (and sub forum creations) and Wiki changes.  If we decide that we don't like it, we can always go back.
