With an attempt not to ruin Rizwan's CSTART logo, I thought I would draw up a nice graphic for CSTART/OHKLA.

What does everyone think? Is this an acceptable graphic to put to the OHKLA wiki page? Should I modify things? I tried my best to match the colors of the logo around the rocket, if Rizwan knows the RGB values, I can modify them. I am a bit impartial about the other logo being black and the rest of the rocket grey. What are some preferred color combinations I should use? Should I put a reddit alien somewhere?

This incorperates the logo we decided against on the side of the rocket. I don't think that's really appropriate for our artwork, since it isn't the one we decided to go with. Also, as you said, the colors of the logo around the rocket don't quite match up. Finaly, one trivial concern about 3D logos and artwork: They may not look quite as nice in a greatly reduced number of colors, such as what one might put on a relatively cheep T-shirt or something.
I have no complaints about the overal design, however, and I apreciate the fact that you took the initiative.

Very cool design. I can tell that the colors are off a little bit, hopefully Rizwan can get that info to you.
Do we want to use regular photo prints for SpaceUp handouts? This would give us pretty decent quality at a decent price.

This is good work, although I echo brmj's concern about using the "losing" logo. That image isn't used anywhere else on the site/wiki or in any documents. I think it's probably best to try to keep a consistent "branding", if possible. That said, once again, this is good work. It's nice o see the Blue Marble starting to appear on more of our images.

Here is an updated picture that has your comments taken into account. Concerning the 3d being poor for low quality shirts and such, I just assume we wouldn't use this for that. I was thinking more along the lines as just a picture in the wiki or for something at SpaceUp. If this is considered a bad design, then by all means, don't use it any where. I am not really gifted in the graphic department and it wouldn't hurt my feelings. I was only experimenting :)

The wiki wouldn't allow for an thumbnail image with a transparent background. I was unsure if it would work in the forums. Anyways, it seems to work here.

I like these very much. I may try to make some sort of handout that brmj can use at SpaceUP. We haven't really discussed what exactly we will push for at SpaceUp, but my personal opinion (which I have mentioned before) is to acknowledge CLLARE as our ultimate goal, but recruit people to work on OHKLA in the near term.
