I just ordered a copy of this book in preparation for doing a lot more detailed work on navigation stuff.  This book is incredibly cheap for what it is (usually textbooks, especially for non-mainstream fields, cost many times this much).  Anybody else who is interesting in getting heavily involved in the navigation side of things should definitely consider picking up a copy.  When the book arrives I'll post my impressions of it if people want to hold off until then.

Main CLLARE workgroups: Mission Planning, Navigation and Guidance. I do maths, physics, C, Python and Java.

That looks like an interesting book, but it is probably a bit over my head. Let us know if it is readable or mostly a reference book.

BTW, are you having any progress with your wiimote experiment?

This book arrived in the mail today!  I'm looking forward to getting started on it, I will make sure to let everyone know what I think.

This is good timing since I think that most of the CLLARE project is now sketched out in the Overview Document is as much detail as it reasonably can be until we get some real engineers on board, and I am certainly starting to feel like I can't contribute much more without further study, which I sadly just don't have time for.  Thus, I will probably finally go ahead with my long-threatened withdrawl to only working on navigation issues in the near future.
