In keeping with our spirit of international unity, it might be nice to offer translations of our 3 Official Documents into as many languages as we can manage.  This is something that can be done by anybody through the Wiki (a Wiki admin should run new translations through Babelfish or the like just to check for trolls – if the "untranslation" looks roughly like the original, it's probably a genuine translation attempt and not a prank).

Maybe Rizwan and rpulkrabek could start us off with Hindi and Finnish versions?

Main CLLARE workgroups: Mission Planning, Navigation and Guidance. I do maths, physics, C, Python and Java.

From what I see this would be good to have, but not a priority at this point. Maybe when we have more members for whom english is not the first language that time we can translate. We have better issues to tackle right now?

I should explain a little bit more about myself then too. I do live in Finland, however, I am not Finnish. I am originally from Minnesota. I do speak a very poor Finnish, though. As for translating, I could attempt and then a colleague would correct.

Ah!  My misunderstanding, sorry about that, I shouldn't have assumed.

That's quite fine. I came off as sounding like I am from Finland and would have assumed of any other person too.

I speak very poor Portuguese, but I could give translating a go too.

You are very welcome to try!  Just create a new Wiki page for each of the official documents you want to translate with something like " (Portugese translation)" appended to the title and give it a shot!  I'll add a link to it from the English version (which is admin-edit-only) once you are done.  It doesn't matter if it's a rough translation, people will improve it over time.
