The website now says "HEAT ENGINE FIRED..", but there are no pictures or videos yet. Sounds like things went alright, though.

Mine shows a countdown with 4 hours to go. I'm no Javascript guy, but upon skimming the code they use for the countdown, it looks plausible that it isn't correcting for time zone in the local time portion of the calculation. I don't know how the Javascript Date object behaves by default, though, and I really just skimmed it.

If that is the case then they most likely have already tested it. Kind of strange to do it on Sunday morning though.

This seems like the most likely explanation to me. It's already the 1st of March in my timezone, so it would make sense that a timezone-insensitive countdown script would show me that the launch had already happened. I guess this means the 3-4 hour time probably isn't accurate either.
