anybody got any friends/co-workers that are into comms work? we really need some more people in here with more experience to get some ideas flowing

I dob't know anybody who specialises in comms in particular but I do know a few people in similar disciplines who may have friends – I'll ask around.
As I mentioned in my PM to you, I've done a lot more reading on comms for the American Gemini spacecraft, which is quite similar to what our CM will eventually be, I can at least give you a more detailed list of requirements and obviously problems for your consideration. I'm just about to head out to uni now but I promise I'll make some posts later tonight that will at least give you something to think about.
